Sema Wayah is an open-air burial site accessible only by a 15 to 45-minute boat ride across Lake Batur.

This specific cemetery is exclusively for married individuals who died of natural causes. Instead of burial or cremation, deceased locals are laid on the ground inside woven bamboo cages.

Visitors must wear modest clothing and a sarong.

The entrance fee ranges from IDR 50,000 to IDR 100,000 per person, separate from your boat transfer.
